ABOUT ME:

Originally from the East Coast, I have been a full-time personal trainer in Los Angeles since 2017. I specialize in a well-rounded and sustainable approach to training that encompasses building strength and lean muscle without sacrificing mobility. I work with a wide variety of clients including desk workers, people with physically demanding jobs, and recreational athletes. I assist clients with specific body composition goals and provide nutrition guidance. I highly value science based training and believe that it’s a trainers job to not only explain “how” to execute a certain lift or movement pattern, but also be able to explain “why”.

I train my in-person clients at a small LGBTQ+ gym in Los Angeles and I offer online training as well. I also extend training services to organizations and businesses. I teach employees how to lift properly within their work environment and give them personalized strength programs to fit their specific tasks. I have trained groups of art handlers at The Broad Museum and brewers at Highland Park Brewery.

I believe that getting stronger is one of the most empowering feelings. One of my favorite things in the world is seeing the look of awe and joy on a clients face when they achieve a physical feat they never thought possible.

Training Services

IN-PERSON TRAINING :

An excellent option for people looking for 1-1 guidance and real time feedback. It is great for people who may struggle with progress, accountability and tapping into a challenging level of effort. In-person sessions take place within a gym where there is access to heavy weights, cables, and machines and this can be excellent for people who want to track strength progress, establish good training habits with me and on their own, and utilize a variety of weights and tools to achieve their goals.

ONLINE TRAINING:

A great alternative to in-person training and works well for people who are self sufficient, committed to training regularly, but still want a personalized program and guidance from me via My PT Hub app. It can be more financially feasible for some. Form checks are done through the “chat” section of the app where clients can send me videos and I can check their form. I do not recommend online training for people who have never trained before and are just starting out as having a basic foundation first is crucial.
